ABOUT THE AUTHOR
H. Craig Plantz's journey in the real estate industry is a testament to his resilience and entrepreneurial spirit. Raised in Littleton, Colorado, he graduated from Columbine High School in 1981 and embarked on his academic journey at the University of Colorado for a few semesters before deciding to serve his country. In 1983, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and, with dedication, earned an honorable discharge in 1987.
Post-military service, Plantz ventured into the real estate realm, obtaining his license in 1992. A pivotal moment in his career came in 1995 when, alongside two friends, Plantz pioneered one of the country's first DOT COMs, Colorado Real Estate Online (CREO), aimed at putting MLS listings on the world wide web to generate leads for brokers. The venture marked a significant leap into the digital age of real estate. In 1999, CREO caught the attention of EW Scripps, leading to its acquisition and paving the way for Plantz to establish his own Colorado brokerage, Resident Realty.
At Resident Realty, Plantz honed his approach to real estate, developing a team strategy that later evolved into a comprehensive brokerage strategy. His commitment to innovation and excellence has propelled Resident Realty to expand its influence beyond Colorado, with active operations in multiple states. As of the latest update, H. Craig Plantz continues to shape the landscape of real estate with his strategic vision and dedication to advancing the industry.
